Information on Bishopdale, Yorkshire
Bishopdale in one of the least known of the Dales. It is a neighbour of Wensleydale and takes its name from the Bishopdale beck which joins the River Ure near Aysgarth. Agriculture and a few holiday cottages form the main sources of income in the dale.
