Information on Redmire, Yorkshire

Redmire in Wensleydale lies on the minor road running parallel to the A684 close to Castle Bolton.It has a pleasant village green and its station is at the Western end of the Wensleydale railway line. The village pub the Bolton Arms, which provides accommodation, was built in the 17 century, originally as a farm house.
