Information on Arncliffe, Yorkshire

Arncliffe is a small village of stone cottages around a pretty village green, situated in the valley of Litton dale around 3 miles from Kilnsey crag. Its church, St Oswalds is by the River Skirfare, which is crossed by a stone bridge. A steep climb takes you over Park Scar and down into Kettlewell and affords some fantastic views en route. The Falcon Inn in Arncliffe was the original ‘Woolpack’ Pub in TV soap Emmerdale.
